Sometimes life gets stressful, but don't allow that to get in the way. For those who don't know, I work in the city of London, I can imagine for anyone else who does, it can be very hectic. So here are my five simple destress tips:
Take a walk in the country or a park nearby. This will bring you closer to nature and rebalance you.
Get close to water ..by that I mean go to the beach for some serenity or go for a swim locally, great form of exercise. If you can't do neither, treat yourself to a nice bath using your favourite bath salts etc to loosen tense muscles. Water is meant to calm and renew us.
Play your favourite songs! Every morning when I get ready I try to ensure I set the tone for the rest of my day by playing some feel good music with positive vibes, thereafter I find myself to be in a great mood and for that one reason people think I'm a morning person cos I'm still giddy from my favourite song
Meditation, yoga or prayer. Whichever one you prefer, personally I like to pray in the morning. I feel these methods are pretty similar as you enter a different realm with meditation and allow silence (allowance being key here) .. and with prayer it's that intention to want to do things different - it's all positive vibes
Exercise,this is known to release endorphins .. so good on you, you'll get to not only de-stress but get fit too ;)
Avoid electronics, this is a total must do for a proper destress. Grab your favourite book, set your humidifier with your favourite oils .. read & relax
