If you recall in my last skincare blog I mentioned if you find a product that works you better stick to it.
Well this month, I found my favourite go to especially for this season. Not only is it friendly packaging but the scent is just so fresh and makes you feel clean & rejuvenated.
I am pleased to have tried out the YesTo cucumber sleep mask this autumn season. The face mask is so ideal because as it starts to get cold, our radiators / heaters dry out our skin and what better what better way to avoid dry skin.
Don't make the terrible mistake I did by applying a whole satchet content on your face. Just apply enough for the night and wash your face the next day & it will leave your skin, soft, refreshed and you'll be ready for the day. Simple & easy :)
Another perfect go to if you're a workaholic like me is the eye kit. If you get dark circles due to l tiredness you will need this. Perfect to apply before a job interview / casting call, meeting ... last thing you want to do is attend a meeting looking unbothered.
Last but not least.. the face wipes.. these are what made me fall in love with YesTo cucumbers, they smell so delicious and fresh just like real cucumbers. After a tired day, just wipe of your make up with these, or maybe you've gone to the gym after work, perfect to have in your sports bag or hand bag.
I know I've mentioned how much I love the YesTo cucumber, but guess what !!' They have other scents of cucumber is not got you.
So I guess, some people would say every girls dream is to become a model, just like most guys dream of becoming football players.
It takes tough skin to be a model, the industry itself is small, and eventually you end up bumping into the same photographers, make up artists & models at castings etc.
Networking is essential, good time keeping & a good attitude at all times.
Girls love to be glammed up and of course the pros are getting pampered before the show. This was not always a great experience for ethnic minority girls because you had to bring your own make up (chances are the make up artist won't have the right colour foundation) & then worry about how they'll do your hair (Afro girls ) !
So obviously I'm speaking in retrospect. Thanks to Rihanna's Fenty Beauty, Mac & other make up ranges that do take different skin tones into consideration, and hopefully makeup artists will be able to up their game & manage to apply make up on all skin types.
