What is my perfect cosy night in? Well for me it has got to be on either Friday or Sunday nights. I know it is hard to believe that Friday can be an ideal night in, but sometimes I just want to switch my phone off, be alone and watch some good television in my own company. Thank goodness for smart tv Panasonic.
Whilst a lot of my friends would rather stay out in the city for a drink or two and so forth , I believe in giving myself some much need time alone. Working a 9-5 plus being a blogger requires for me to give myself much needed self attention/ self love :p or self pamper if you like.
Well how does this work? Let's talk about self indulgence, I am known for this, more so on a Sunday.
First things first, this is how I tend to set the tone for a me myself and I time alone (well that rhymes :)
1. Clean the make up off my face, after all it has been a long day and bare face is just what I need
2. Take a shower; at the moment I am loving using the organic black african soap
3. Light up my favourite scented candles;
4. Get in my cosy pj's,
5. Not forgetting a face mask - a face mask is always ideal when I am watching TV
6 .Last but not least grab a few snacks and watch a few of my favourite TV programmes.
Let me just say, I am a sucker for some good documentaries and Youtube blogs, whether it is based on travel, history, lifestyle....count me in, I am there.
For everything to go as planned, a HD smart TV is essential especially when I have missed my favourite programmes, I can use a smart TV app or Youtube. I know I sound like such a TV geek, well I guess I am when it comes to good informative documentaries, other than that I like to just read books or if I am too lazy to read, again I l
ike to use my smart TV for audio books using apps.
Here are a few of my most recommended documentaries and favourite youtube bloggers
⦁ Mermaids : The Body Found
⦁ First Contact: Lost Tribe of the Amazon
⦁ Chuckie Online - Halfcast Podcast - youtube/ online podcast
⦁ Kane & Pia - youtube vloggers
